Planning for 5/7 PATROL NIGHT backyard campfire gatherings

Posted on Apr 29 2015 - 12:08am

Patrols will meet and make final arrangements this Thursday 4/30 for the patrol night backyard campfire gatherings on 5/7.   Patrols will be doing necessary planning to ensure they have a place picked to do their backyard campfire, agree on meeting time, and decide if members should be bringing anything to cook (hotdogs, smores, etc...).   Patrol Leaders (Jacob Brosius, Hunter Hassebrock, and Rhys Luger) will get together with their patrols immediately following announcements to get this done before any merit badge or advancement is worked on.   The patrol leaders will then communicate with SPL Tate Fisher and Scoutmaster Ken Elfstrum as to what the exact plans are so that we ensure a great Patrol Night is had by each patrol.   LASTLY, patrols shall vote and decide on their formal patrol name from the standard list of BSA patrol names (see  http://scoutmaster.org/usscouts/boyscouts/Patrolbadges.pdf ).   This new patrol name shall be communicated by each Patrol Leader to SLP Tate and PLC coordinator via email.  Thanks!
