Troop 214 will attend Winter Camp at Camp Wilderness from March 5-7. Plans call for the Troop to leave from Fargo the afternoon of March 5 and return home on Sunday morning. Scouts can enjoy sledding, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, and fun and games. A group of Scouts and adults will leave camp on Saturday to go up to Buena Vista Ski Resort north of Bemidji to do some snow boarding and downhill skiing. Quite a few folks are signed up but if you are interested, you can get your payment to Tim Harms on Thursday. Scouts need to bring a sleeping bag, change of clothing, warm winter gear, and toiletries. We will be staying again at the Cub Scout Camp, Butler Wilderness Outpost, and have 3 towers and the dining hall reserved. Cost is $25 for food and lodging. To go on the ski trip to Buena Vista, there is a $20 lift ticket charge and a $15 charge for ski rental. It is $25 to rent a snow board.
