This Week's Scout Meeting and PANCAKE FEED!

Posted on Jan 23 2012 - 7:47pm

This week's Scout meeting will be held at the Tupperware Building/Evergreen Conference Center at 302 27th Street North. We will take a tour the facility and look at the different stations and go through some planning for the upcoming Pancake Feed. Also we are about 300 or so tickets short of our goal of 3000 tickets, so Scoutmaster Ken is reminding us to get out there and sell those tickets! If you need more, please contact Ken at 237-4540 asap so we can get these tickets sold. Remember the camp credit you will get if you sell a book or more of tickets! Please plan on getting your uniforms washed and ready for Friday and Saturday's pancake feed, and try to get your neckerchief and slide together so we look good. Reminder that the pancake feed is Friday from 6-8pm and Saturday from 7am-6pm, and check your shift schedules so you are on time to work.

UPDATE/REMINDER: Troop Christmas Party

Posted on Dec 21 2011 - 3:34pm

Update on Troop 214 Christmas Party: You're invited to our annual Christmas Party which will be starting at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Dec 22 at the FM Curling Club, (17th Ave N and 10th St N) http://fmcurling.org. Scouts should bring a clean second pair of shoes to wear on the ice, and we will try to perfect the art of throwing the rock and getting some instruction on how to curl. At 5:45 pm we will end our activity, and return to Faith United Church and have pizza supper & fried ice cream dessert. There is a Scout gift exchange. Scouts do not need to bring any supper dish, but should plan on bringing a gift (non-food) that is in the ten-fifteen dollar range. Camping equipment or tools are a great idea for Scouts. The gift exchange will happen following the meal, and we should be finished by 7:30 pm. Please join us for the final meeting of 2011, and hope to see you there!

Tree Sales

Posted on Dec 21 2011 - 3:34pm

Congratulations to Troop members for selling our Christmas trees! The lot finished last weekend and there only a few trees left available for donation, but our lot is pretty clean and we are very excited to have once again had a successful selling season. Thanks for all your help and also to Steven, and Jack Norland for managing the Christmas Tree Sale this year. Good job!
